"My Life...Music, Family, and 'Her'."
It all started on a summer day. Plaz's brother comes home and said "Rap!" Plaz didn't know how to so he started learning from his brother and other famous rappers.
Plaz had got a CD with all rap on it and listened to it over and over again and started getting more CDs learning the basics from just listening. Then he had got a CD with instrumentals on it and started writing to them.
Plaz had got turntables one year for christmas and started scratching and mixing records. Around the age of 13 Plaz had started writing more and more songs.
Plaz got with another rapper and started up a group...that didn't last long. Although he had got somewhere with his music. Plaz said that more people heard about him so he had some more credability. Plaz also met a girl in 2008. He doesn't see her a lot but she means the world to him! That summer Plaz's family moved and that this move was probably the BEST thing that has ever happened to him!
16 was what you could say the BOOM year! He recorded his first song "Intro". He put it up on myspace and within 21 days Plaz had over 1,000 plays just on the "Intro". Plaz also did 5 shows and tore up the stage each time! Plaz had recorded 11 songs when he was 16 but he only had 9 that he actually put out for people to hear. Plaz also came out with his first CD called "The Untold Story" and he gives out all CD's for FREE! This year Plaz recorded Intro, Murder Mitten, Rain, Lyrical Banga, Alright, Lakeland Revolution, Ya Heard, Untitled, Paper Chaser, and Lost Love.
Last October Plaz celebrated his 17th birthday. So far he has recorded the songs "Welcome", "40-5", "Out of This Place", "Love High", "Sound of Victory", and "Rock Bottom". Plaz also made a 2nd CD called "Table For One". He's motivated and he's concentrating just on his music.
I'm just going to be workin' on my music. I'm not going to do anything stupid to lose everything i have and that i have earned over the past years. Just look how far i've came. From giving out tapes on my street to giving out CDs and performing!
Last January Plaz performed at CYO once again. He performed "Welcome" with a band and the performance turned out to be a techno remix of his song "Welcome". Also he did his school's talent show and came in first! 2 tickets to Cedar Point, $50, and more respect.
