Patrick Phillips is a 21 year old songwriter originally from the midwest college town Columbia, Mo. During high school, Phillips gained local success with his pop-rock trio March to Glory. During his senior year, March to Glory recorded a full length album entitled "Accept the Risk of Failure." The album was well received by local radio stations and the Columbia music scene. A year stint at Westminster College followed, a small private school in a farming community. During this year Phillips dedicated himself to his songwriting. Written exclusively in his dorm room was the "Warm End to a Cold Summer" EP which was played over 30,000 times on PureVolume and considered for the soundtrack of a major motion picture. The confines of a sleepy midwestern town proved to be too much and Phillips made his next move, accepting a basketball scholarship to Hunter College in New York City. Phillips has called New York home for two years, paying his rent by modeling for companies such as Barney's and H&M and working on his English degree. He is currently in the process of recording his next album entitled "The Empty Train." "The Empty Train" is being recorded in Chicago with the same producer of his previous EP Tyson Moore. The songs being recorded deal with the uncertainty and compromises we must make in our early 20's.
