The members of acoustic rock band NorthTide recognize the power and influence of song, and more importantly, the power and influence of a song that is God-breathed. NorthTide strives to keep Jesus at the forefront of who they are. "We have formed a unique sound and we take a very in-depth and personal approach when we write our songs," says singer-pianist Chad Davis who formed the band with singer-guitarist Alexia Riggins, guitarist Ben Davis, guitarist Josh Queen, bassist Seth Dresser and drummer Evan Showler. "There is some really good music out there, but when you find something that touches your soul, it's beautiful. That's the kind of music we strive to create. We want to take the songs that God has been singing over and to us, and share them with the world in a way that makes everything around you just kinda stand still."

Chad and Alexia have been playing and writing music together since 2005. In early 2008, they were joined by Ben and Evan, with Seth and Josh following soon after. NorthTide was brought together by the common bond of music, and a passion for making music that glorifies God, and speaks to the hearts of His people. Every member of the band leads worship in some capacity at their home churches every Sunday.
