Members: Cody Janko - Guitar/Vocals, Alex Bell - Percussion/Vocals
They may be young, but as Winners of the 2010 New Bohemia New Band Stage it's obvious that Native Isle are no newcomers. Cody Janko and Alex Bell began playing together in 2006 in the metal band Acubake System. After completing a regional tour of the Midwest and playing with Killswitch Engage, Bullet for My Valentine, Atreyu, and Avenged Sevenfold they put down the ax and war drums to take a bite out of something completely new. Don't be fooled by their calm post show demeanor. Once they start It's obvious that these 2 know what they are doing as Cody mixes impressive rhythm and lead guitars while Alex brings strong beats and tones with a variety percussion instruments including bongos, hand drums, and native pots.
