Prevent the Machine on purevolume™

Hello... my name is Mitchell. I am not what you may call a marvelous muscian, at least... not yet. As it is, I am a songwriter/poet who is looking to finally put his songs to music (so I'm learning the guitar). First I'll be putting up some covers that I have learned while I'm learning the guitar. But over time I hope to be good enough to join a band (in which case they will get my songwriting talent :)... I'm not vain at all) But until then, I'm on my own...

The band name was inspired by a quote from a social leader of the 60's,

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you cant take part, you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop! And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!"
