Bio:
Motion Theory is a progressive alt-rock band formed at Durham University, England. In 2008 they made a demo EP, "Sunlight on the Sand" and toured the UK with great success. In Easter 2009 the band recorded a full album, "Featherhead" and performed at across the UK from August-October.
The album rewarded Manchester Music's unsigned album of the week – "Technically Motion Theory are on to some really promising ideas and have the competence to see it through. Singer Dom has an impressive range, the guitar and bass work are superb…this band have all the makings of something special indeed."
Motion Theory have received fantastic reviews from various online magazines and forums.
At the moment, the four lads are at University in Durham and Oxford, but will keep up their online profile and gig as much as they can until the festival season in June-August.
