The project Miotic was born in autumn 2007 from an idea of Dave (guitar) and Andrea (bass). In summer 2008, after a year spent looking for a third member, Nicola (drums) joined the band permanently and the choice to compose instrumental songs became a permanent feature of the trio. The reference musicians are especially Tool, Don Caballero, but also experimental bands like ZU. In October 2010, Miotic recorded at Studio 73 (Ravenna, Italy) with the sound recordist Riccardo Pasini, a four songs EP, which is actually available. E-mail: mioticmusic@yahoo.it
