You will find three basic types of learning:

1. Visual. The visual learner learns well from pictures and reading words. They sometimes retain most of what exactly is read, and many of what's seen.
2. Auditory. The auditory learner benefits from the spoken word. Educational CDs, MP3s, and speeches or lectures would be the preferred methods of learning with this type of person.
3. Kinesthetic. They will become familiar with best by doing. These are definitely practical those who want to say, "Let me try."

When choosing a memory course, you need to first choose which kind of learning style you recognize most. Would you want to read notes or doodle when you read? Then you're mostly visual.
Memory Classes & Events
Can you love an excellent speech and constantly possess a new book on CD or MP3 in the car? Then you are mostly auditory.

While studying something totally new is it necessary to "get the hands dirty" and attempt it out, learning from mistakes as you go along? Would you typically throw the directions away and start putting things together? Then you are mostly kinesthetic.
