The multi-talented musician and songwriter has been making quite a name for himself on the New York studio and club scene since he was ten years old. In his teenage years, Amendola toured the United States and performed at many of the cities premier venues, some of which include, The Supper Club, The Apollo Theater and Radio City Music Hall. Between sessions and shows, Matty keeps the beat with various artist some of which include, rapper G.I.C. and guitarist Nick Diaz and Weird Old America. He's also a member and bassist for The Classic Futures, which features vocalist/songwriter/guitarist Kenli Mattus, Michael Fox ..boards and MTV personality Damien Fahey on drums. You may have caught them on their television debut this past July, on MTV's TRL.
His first solo recording = Ecstasy, released in the summer of '08, showcased his strong songwriting as well as his tasteful drumming, guitar, bass, vocals and producing skills. He is currently in the studio recording his second solo album, "Life Commercials."

whats up all you fellow purevolume artists and fans! im glad to be joining pure volume! after all these years of myspace and facebook promotion, it really seems like purevolume is all about the music. im writing to you while i am uploading all the tunes off my debut solo album =ecstasy.
some of you may know me as being a drummer....which i am. i've been a drummer for hire on the nyc scene for quite some time and am known for it. some of you might know me as the bass player in the band the classic futures...(if you watch TRL)
but i'm here on purevolume to share my solo work.
i started writing and recording the album about a year ago and i am singing and playing all the instruments on it! i was blessed to work with grammy award winning and good friend, butch jones. it really makes it easy to create something on your own when you have someone with so much experience behind the board.
well, i hope to make friends with alot of new bands and fans on purevolume and i hope you drop me a line and tell me what you think about the stuff!
