Lenny Kelleher (born 15 January 1975) is an Irish singer-songwriter. Kelleher was born and grew up in the city of Cork, Ireland. It was here that he honed his songwriting skills and made waves as bass player with his band The Riff. The Riff released their first and only album "Play something we know" in 2004 to some critical attention.
At the end of 2004, Kelleher moved to Arizona where he continues to write and record music. His music is in a contemporary folk rock, singer-songwriter mode. His primary instrument is the acoustic guitar but his songs regularly feature rock arrangments and electric instrumentation. Despite the move to more complex music, Kelleher has used small-scale, often home-based, recording methods and equipment and espoused a do-it-yourself approach to music production.
