Members: bolder, jonny sonik, don wagner
Just three guys who like to make music and smoke cigarettes. In early 2007 Jonny and Boulder started writing acoustic songs as a side project and escape away from their post hardcore band, Alasynthia. What started as a fun thing to do on the weekends quickly developed into an idea. Almost a year later in 2008 the guys met Don at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. They talked about there idea of an acoustic act telling of their journeys and outlooks on life in the Texas music scene. The guys quickly hit if off and after just a few sessions Don decided to pack up, and move to an apartment just outside Bailey's Prairie and take things with the band a little more seriously. In November of 2008 JLPB was signed to TellTale Recording Co. after a representative had attended a party in which they were asked to perform at. JLPB is now currently working on a full length with TT Records to follow up their previously, self produced e.p. "This Is Just A CD." Look for more songs and stories coming from the guys of Joey Lawrence Pipebomb in the near future....
