“We are Jess and the Rest. We hail from St. Albert, Alberta and have slowly, but surely been making our way around the Edmonton music scene for under a year. What originally was an acoustic duo has now evolved into a full band, with Jessica Smith on Vocals, Chet Matthews on Lead Guitar, Jason Ross on Rhythm, Travis Matthews on Bass, and Mike Amyotte on Drums. With diverse musical interests such as metal, funk, singer song-writer, etc. we have become what we like to call ‘Electric Folk.’ We have turned our lives and experiences into music and hope you enjoy what we have created.â€
