Hellcity Punks is a rock band from Helsinki, Finland. Punks have a diverse sound incorporating the elements of hard rock, metal, pop and punk. Their lyrical themes center around an imaginary place called Hellcity, a future city located in a cold, dark and otherwise desolated part of northern Europe.
The Punks are currently working on their 1st full length album with producer Ilkka Wirtanen. The first single 'Angelina Cries' was released 29.8.2011. In September 2011 Hellcity Punks performed at the K17 club in Berlin, Germany. The event is called Suomi Darkness and it's part of the Popkomm Festival.
Hellcity Punks have toured in Finland, Germany and Austria and have become well known for their wild and enertic live performances. They have already built a strong cult following around the world and they have active street teams in 8 different countries.
