"Eye, Heart and Down There" is a powerful EP debut by Hello Regina, an Indonesian Alternative Rock Music Band.
Hello Regina is an Indonesian band formed in April 2010. The singer's distinctive voice continues to be compared to that of Bono (U2), Paul Banks (Interpol) and Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio). Hello Regina are: Noviardi Siregar (on Vocal and Guitar), Yayat Priyatno (on Guitar), Bayu Pribadi (on Bass) and Hilman Ramdani (on Drums). The three original members in the band were college friends in Padjadjaran University, Bandung. Several years after they finished, Bayu came up with an idea to set up a band. Last Year, they decided to form Hello Regina with the addition of a new guitar player, Yayat Priyatno. Ever since then, the band has been making waves all around Indonesia with their distinctive sound. In March 2011, they caught the attention of Expat Records, one of the fastest developing Record Labels in the world. After a brief discussion, Hello Regina arrived at the decision to launch their EP under Expat Records.
Hello Regina possess a original sound and the style of a classic rock band. They try to put emphasis on creating simple music when composing a song. There is almost no guitar solo in this EP mainly because they think that the lyrics and Noviardi's voice are the strength of their tracks. The debut EP of Hello Regina continues to be embraced by rock fans worldwide, not just in Asia, for the outstanding lyrics and Nopay's striking voice. Fans of Interpol, U2 and Alkaline Trio will love this band. Eye, heart and down there is their first release onto the International Music Scene. The EP contains five easy listening songs: Tell U Why, Mistake, I'm No Different, The Same Girl, and Love.
As an Asian Rock Band, Hello Regina have found it challenging to break into the commercial music industry. By signing a record deal with Expat Records, they are looking forward to proving that Asian bands deserve more attention.
