Spring 2005: Frontline was formed by Nico and Jamppa as a studio project after the feeling that both of them wanted to do something faster and more aggressive than old-school death metal.

2005-2008: Frontline was partly hibernating, partly recording many songs just for fun.

beginning of 2008: Jerkka joined into Frontline as a drummer and soon after that Frontline started rehearsals. Everything didn't go as planned and soon Frontline turned inactive. Reason to this was that every band member had lots of interests in many different ways and genres of music and several new projects were born.

Autumn 2009: Nico asked Jamppa if he would like to continue grinding in Frontline after the break. Jerkka also stated that he would be interested in doing some backing vocals for Frontline. In December Refuse / Once and for All were recorded.

2010: Jerkka showed he's interest in Frontline again, but this time from the bassists view. Things started forming up, and few more songs were recorded and the creation of our new demo had begun. With a new thriving passion for asskicking metal new songs were composed and recorded.

Present: After the demo has been completed and published on the internet a search for a new drummer will take place. When we will complete our line up we will start rehearsing as a whole band again and see where it takes us.
