Hi, and welcome to the Falk PureVolume site! Thank you for visiting and taking an interest in FALK. We are two sisters who have been singing, writing and performing together, practically, from the time we started walking.
Our music is and always has been, not only a fervent passion of ours, but also the focal point of our lives. We started performing at ages 2 and 4 in our hometown of Farmington, Utah, as a country duo known as Two-Steppin. We have since experienced a roller coaster of life-altering events that have taught us many invaluable lessons about life and the music industry.
At ages 8 and 10 we became the youngest artists to sign with Warner Chapel Music, tied with the legendary Michael Jackson, where we wrote 5 songs that would go platinum and 3 of them hit the number one spot on music charts in Brazil. We later went on to form a band called Faces Without Names, which had great success in Europe and the Northeastern U.S. Currently, we are preparing for our next exciting Journey! We just transitioned to our new name, Falk, and we are ready for the world to hear our music. Our style is unique, an organic blend of pop, rock and acoustic, a genre we like to call fusion
We believe that music is the universal language, and we feel our purpose is to help heal the world one song at a time. An example of this would be our song, Deadly Beauty, which won the CosmoGIRL songwriting competition in 2007. It is about a girl who dies of anorexia, and this song has helped inspire a lot of women and young girls.
We want to use the power of our music to encourage individuals to obtain a true sense of self love and appreciation because what people feel inside is what they reflect onto others. If everyone would love themselves, so many of the problems in the world would be eradicated. We have high hopes for our future as musicians, and have no intentions of stopping until we have shared our music and messages to all who want and need to hear it.
