Death Pot Pie is a concept Rock Band band formed in April of 2007 by Bob Woodshed and a small group of devotees. Originally playing out of a garage in Portland, OR and a ratty apartment in Corvallis, OR; Death Pot Pie now regularly plays gigs throughout the Pacific Northwest.

With house bands at three venues, two primary headliners and over twenty house band members regularly play with the band.

In Fall of 2008, exceeding all expectations Death Pot Pie became the preeminent fan band for Rock Band. This time period brought external legitimacy for the band through recognition by Washington State University as a Registered Student Organization and registration with the Oregon Secretary of State as a performing artist.

In October Death Pot Pie gained it's first major sponsor - Peak Products - makers of the Peak Starpex Guitar. Minor sponsorships by PDP and Block 15 Restaurant and Brewery quickly followed. Gigs continued to be played regularly at three different venues throughout the Pacific Northwest, growing in size and scope to include dozens of participants and professionally managed equipment. Fall also brought the upgrade to Playstation 3 and Rock Band 2.
