From Panama and currently residing in Montreal, David Joeli Santamaria has grown up among a variety of music scenes. He's a composer and multi-instrumentalist who has tackled drums, bass, guitar, and piano along with other instruments. He wrote a complete album during winter of 2007 and recorded a very rough version of it during spring of 2008. He then decided to re-record it at Gabriel Scoppa's personal studio which took place during the last few months of 2009. Scoppa himself, a Pro Tools|HD certified sound engineer, has mixed and mastered the album. His album titled "The Hidden Curriculum" is set for release sometime during May of 2010. David is currently enrolled at Vanier College in Montreal and is not hesitating to write new material.
Drums are his principal instrument with which he has years of experience recording with bands, performing live, and doing session work.
