Daniel York is Founder and Director of First Cause, an international non-profit organization dedicated to leadership training throughout the world. He has performed in over 10 nations across four continents and is now booking events across the United States for the fall of 2008 and the first half of 2009. Dan grew up as a missionary kid, living in Okinawa, Korea, Japan, the Philippines, and throughout the United States. In 1977, after graduating from Faith Academy in the Philippines, he was congressionally appointed to West Point. Following his graduation from West Point in 1981, he served with the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division before joining the Army Reserves in 1986. He received a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary (West) and moved with his family 1n 1991 to plant and pastor several ministries, most recently The Road Home Fellowship in Newberg, Oregon.

He is the author of three books: a 2-part series on spiritual growth titled I Keep Asking and I Pray Also, and a new 365 day devotional titled, Something to Think About . . . in Reveration. Dan has recorded seven albums of original music. The most recent, Where Were You? will be released in early 2010.

Currently, Dan serves in the Army Reserves as a Brigadier General and Commander of the 104th Division (Leader Training). He is married to Kathleen, and is the father of two sons, Bryan and Stephen and one daughter, Sarah. The Yorks reside in Newberg, Oregon.
