"Living life in Florida, Watching the world as we grow up"
Hailing from Jacksonville/Jacksonville Beach, Florida, with members barely out of high school, Dancell has developed a multi-genre sound all their own. Coining their sound simply as "Alternative Pop Punk", this group of young Floridians creates intricate and compelling songs that are based upon the daily trials and triumphs of life.

Formed early 2008, Dancell quickly gained local attention; but rather
than rush and make mistakes, the members of Dancell decide to take time to develop a sound and build a solid fan-base in their hometown. This patience has given them the chance to open for top musical artists such as Gym Class Heroes, Less Than Jake, and Hoobastank. Their dedication is surely to pay off soon enough.

This summer saw Dancell's first official release of music. Dancell released their E.P "Where I Hope to Belong" in association with Dolphinium Records on June 5th. With a unique dedication and refusal for complacency, Dancell continues to compose brand new music for its future as a non-replaceable part of the Florida music scene
