Death Before Compromise blasts out of Kokomo IN, and our mission is to spread the love of Jesus through our love of music. We're out there to reach the people we can, with what we have. You don't see a whole lot of Christian Metal bands, so we are changing that.

This stands to reason that there should be more Christian metalcore out there.
We are just five guys who love that kind of music, we love God too and we want to reach people through the kind of music we love to listen to and play. We want to take a stand and show the community of metalcore, and even people who aren't in that certain community, that it's possible to be a Christian in a metal band. For all you skeptics out there, here's your proof. Death Before Compromise is an entirely Christian band who stands for nothing but Jesus Christ.
It really is all about Jesus. We're always writing new stuff and we make sure that every piece of music means something, not only to us, but to the people listening to it, and to God. We all, every one of us have something to bring to the table that we hope pleases you as much as we hope it pleases God.
We don't shove our beliefs down peoples throats, because we have a firm belief that you can't force someone to believe something that they don't want to believe, and trying to do so, will only result in them being pushed farther away. We connect with people personally, and we show them love not only in our words but in our actions, that's what Jesus would have done right? Well that's what we believe is the right way to do things... what is a better example... preaching hellfire and condemnation from the stage? Or finding some homeless guy after the show and offering to buy him dinner... maybe give him a Bible, and invite him to church. You think about that and get back to us. Which way do you think is better, more effective? This entire ministry, and all of God's ministry should be about love, and THAT is what we're doing here.

It's really easy to guess where we got our name, or it should be.
We would, each and every one of us, rather die than betray Jesus Christ, rather die than compromise our beliefs. We will never sell out on our beliefs, we swear that right now, we (as a band in whole) will stop playing our music before we compromise. It's all about God, so if we compromise, then what point is there to getting up on stage every night, telling people that you are a Christian and knowing in your heart, and showing in your actions, that you could care less about what God wants.
We will have Death before we have Compromise.

We have a new demo on the way called "This Forsaken Earth" coming soon. We're looking at very late 2009 for the final version, the recordings will sound better and will be actual full band recordings.
