Confined Within was created in the unlikely town of Stafford during the summer of 2007. From day one they strived to create an infectious blend of melodic metal that is epic, fresh, and powerful whilst keeping in touch with the ever growing underground, hardcore scene.

Eager to refine their sound Confined Within has been lurking in the depths of the laboratory waiting for the right time to be unleashed. Enduring rigorous testing and experimentation while writing there debut album, numerous scenes of public exposure playing with bands such as Skindred, Dead By April, and Trigger The Bloodshed and countless hours in the practice space, Confined Within is ready to emerge stronger than ever.

With the monstrous World Stops Turning EP, and the forthcoming debut album Ashton, Kay, Matt, Joe and Aaron are a metal force you would be fearless to underestimate. You may not have been exposed to Confined Within yet but you will never forget the first time you are... Be warned!

Local band CONFINED WITHIN took to the stage first and grabbed you by the balls straight off with Circles their energetic front man Tom Ashton giving it his all and the crowd absolutely loving it! Hardcore metal riffs, melodic singing and some good old metal growls make this band one to defiantly watch out for! Good news for openers CONFINED WITHIN, who greet us with their own brand of high-energy, heavy and melodic metalcore. This bunch of young lads are a tight unit, excellent musicians, and eager to make their might known. The band power through their set while frontman Ashton throws himself around the stage, up on the speakers and down into the pit, dedicating their second song Beginnings to Mike Alexander (R.I.P.), the bassist for Evile who passed away less than a week ago. In existence for three years now, Confined Within was formed with the plan of creating a sound that combined melodic elements along with powerful and epic parts. After signing with Brutal Elite Records late last year the band are now in a position to release their debut EP World Stops Turning and with that release they might have just managed to produce that combination. Tracks like Circles and An Underlying Past show what the band can produce when everything comes together perfectly. As a live unit Confined Within have also started to make a name for themselves across the UK and with more shows planned for later in the year be sure to catch them where you can. But with shows planed and booked on mainland Europe as well the band are not taking things for granted and taking their music to the people, where ever they may be. PLANET LOUD
