The band Colour Rain looks back to a very young story of success. The 5 boys from Germany started their career mid 2009.
However not by taking the usual route.Instead of that they proverbially put the cart before the horse.
Before listing their first performances after months of intense song writing,they had produced their own music video already.
They did not only convince viewers as well as the critical internet audience by taking part at the past newcomer competition organised by PRO7 and MyVideo, being voted into the TOP 10 week by week.
As a matter of fact experienced artists and songwriters as Marquess praised their song "Red suitcase".Colour Rain even made it to No. 3 in the end.
They have played gigs with bands as Stanfour, Rick Springfield, Chris Thompson, Suzi Quatro, Slade, The Sweet or the Michael Schenker Group as well as many other well-known artists.
The guy´s was convincing by doing several festivals all over Germany.
Their debut album shall be released in spring 2011, and is supposed to be found in record shops even outside of Germany.

Characterized by all kinds of influences regarding several styles of music and eras, they explored their own special sound.Beginning with piano based ballads up to heavy guitar riffs. Sometimes quiet - sometimes loud - but always with a lot of emotion, passion and love for detail.
