Born in 1987 in Montpellier (France), Gary Claymen spent his childhood in a small village in the countryside. At twelve he turn back to live in his birthplace where he both discovered punk rock and cities realities. Influenced by the sounds, he has learned guitar in the same time he played in his first band. At this time, was born inside the gig's ardor and the pleasure to share music and personnal feelings.
He played in several bands from HXC, Metal, Ska, Punk Rock, … Every experiences to better assert himself musically. Always disappointed by the various interests of other musicians, still far from music, he realized, through the loan of a folk guitar, that he can play some thing different totally of himself, and start writing a series of songs he put on CD for friends.
Having joined a certain number of groups and tried to make his own band, he has finally arrived with an emphasis on friendships than musicians. Music is something to share from the inside to the outside. With his band UFOS, finally confidente, he played music still under construction but part of a total harmony between sharing each group's menbres by a human and musical experience very important.
Despite this, he missed something in his musical performances. This is when he decided to launch himself into the folk music that he loves. Singing what he feels, without FX, on some simple chord, take the road, meet people, have the chance to listen to their stories. Empty pockets, some texts, guitar to his name, he finally find the strength to live the adventure.
