Separate from other female emcees, KLS shows consistency. It's not about how you say your words, but the words you choose to say. Raised with music as her supreme foundation, she went from playing drums with her father to becoming a lyricist many equate as her born gift. "I consider myself a lyricist poet; I'm versatile and can talk about a number of things in many different ways." As versatility seems to be the breaking factor between an artist that has a short shelf life and as artist with longevity, she's a step ahead of the game. Working on a mix-tape that will drop mid 2009, KLS will continue to perform and build an audience that believes in content first when it comes to hip hop. With growth and self assurance, she's been able to transform into an artist that is well respected and often remembered.
