1. "CH'D HISTORY BEGINS NOW" (June 6, 2003)

New band is born in pop punk scene. Big aspirations, but little experience. Will they achieve the impossible?

Recently, a Pop Punk band has been formed ready to beat the local scene to its very core. Product of the fusion of former projects such as "Los Punkchoz", "Ch'ing Dinasty" (original lineup), "Cab Punk" and "DFKTO", it was finally accomplished to get a quite vigorous and tuneful style, musically speaking. Most of the members are below 17 years old, which only makes the group even more interesting, creating expectations among young people and critics from the local scene. With a mise en scène that easily traps the attention of the people that listen to it and at the same time transmits good vibes and the urge to jump up, Ch'ing Dinasty has come and it's ready to give it all in every presentation. Future plans: To record its first album with high composition quality and exportation sounds. The question is… will they make it?

2. "CH'D CONCERT BECOMES A SCAM!" (November 15, 2003)

Friends, family and early fans of the group Ch'ing Dinasty upset due to the amount of problems occurred before the group's presentation at "Chulos", in Primavera. Where is the money?

Looking forward to get funds for the recording of their first album, the members of the Pop Punk band Ch'ing Dinasty decide to associate with a pseudo-event producer. After many conversations, the deal was closed as follows: "Minimum entrance sales by the band, the rest as net profit". Final result: total disaster and a bad decision made by the band. When the moment of the presentation came, the greater part of the public could not go in because they were underage. Upset, and demanding the devolution of their money, the complaints and booing and hissing fell on the members of the band. Finally, Ch'D decided not to make the presentation. To make things worse, the event organizer refused to return the money and continued with the concert. All of this ended up in a serious injury to the band's reputation and, even worse, they couldn't collect the money for the recording of their album. The question is… will they be able to recover from what everyone has called as "Chingdifraud"?

3. "CH'D GUITARRIST LEAVES HOME…" (May 9, 2004)

The road to success is little by little becoming more difficult for the young stars of Pop Punk. First one on the list: Ch'D guitarist, Coco De Lama

Some time after their apparition in local scene, Pop Punk band Ch'ing Dinasty starts to feel social pressure in the form of responsibilities, studies, family and others, as well as ups and downs that carry maintaining a good rock band with high musical performance (little time, few rehearsals, little disposition, little money, etc). Naturally, and being the oldest in the band, with a tacit duty of setting an example for the others, Ch'D's guitarist Coco de Lama finally yielded to pressure. Not being able to get to an agreement in an aspirational level with his family, ended up leaving home and lives nowadays supported by his band and closest friends. Very close sources assure that the situation is not that good within the group, and that it is possible that it might not continue in a mid term. The reason? The different goals and aspirations by some of the band's members that show up as the situation gets more difficult. Will Ch'D survive one of the most difficult times that it has been through, or will it end up staying behind and forgotten as the many other bands that failed trying?

4. "FIRST ALBUM RECORDING NEVER ENDS!" (January 22, 2005)

Despite recent internal problems, pop punk band Ch'ing Dinasty accomplishes to go into recording studio and promises not to leave the place until finishing debut album.

With the very best of their repertoire in mind, finally 12 songs were chosen for the promising debut album "We Punk The Kids", starting recording process on August 2004, and until now is not showing any improvement. What happened? The story goes as follows: After closing the deal with recording studio Ak-47, under the charge of Dennis Yamazato, the band found itself shortly afterwards with a conclusive factor in order to accomplish what they wanted and that they hadn't considered before, the lack of recording experience. Each day, it was more difficult to reach the desired sound and quality, due to which the recordings where frustrated only 4 months after starting point. Frustration, discussions and uncertainty disintegrated the band in the middle of the recording process, remaining only Coco (lead guitar) and El Charro (guitar). Months go by, and apparently there is no clear answer to the situation they are currently going through. Sporadically going to the studio to see if they can finish what has been started, the only remaining members of Ch'D crash against an impossibilities wall… Is reality making its own job?

5. A NEW BEGINING. "CH'D IS BACK ON TRACK WITH NEW BLOOD" (September 10, 2006)

New members, new songs and a new hope… Ch'ing Dinasty is back on track and gets ready to beat local scene again… Will they make it?

After a long time of uncertainties without live presentations or finished plans, the only members left in the band (Coco and El Charro) start to look for replacement within local scene and other bands with which they once shared scenarios. After an intense search they found Betin through a band that played often in the scene. With a great attitude and performance with the drums, they started to work with a lot of effort to get the group ahead. Afterwards, the former vocalist of "Anexo 33" joined them with in bass and choruses. His contribution was notorious due to his much wider experience than the others and a great beat quality. Finally, the voice of Manolo joined them, Betin's friend from the neighborhood, giving a different shade to their songs, since he has musical and lyric influence very different to the others'. With the freshly put-together group, recording, concerts, rehearsals and other plans started again. Good vibes and great environment breathed within the band are essential ingredients to move on, according to internal opinions. They have been together for almost a year now, and it is expected for all of their work to see the light as soon as possible. Will they be able to finish their plans one way or another?

6. "CH'D DRUMMER GOES TO JAPAN" (December 26, 2006)

Once again, a member of the Pop Punk band Ch'ing Dinasty leaves the group under force majeure reasons. In the hardest time the band has had to go through, will this be the definitive end?

Ricardo Marin, better known as Betin by the band members and closest friends, recently announced via Internet bulletin that, for personal reasons, he will not be able to continue anymore in Ch'ing Dinasty, the group which he dedicated effort, will and commitment to for the past 2 years. The news has caused mental shock to those who currently are the pillars for Ch'D, since according to them Betin was one of those pillars, who always contributed charisma, courage and ideas to retake the road that they once drew. Within the most significant contributions, the ones that stand out are reactivating the recording process that had been stuck for quite a long time, presentations continuation, acquisition of important contacts, constant support and disposition, etc. Having in mind the current situation of the band, it seems that this will be a hit from which it will be hard to recover, since different from other members that went through the band testing their luck and contributing in nothing, Betin managed to transcend in great measure even more than the rest of them. Ch'D has lost an important and unconditional member but, even more important than that, has lost the will of continuing with the project. The question is… Will this be the end of Ch'D?

7. "PUNK POP GOES DOWN...EMO GOES UP...WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" (February 18, 2007)

A new "gender" strongly arises in the local scene. Depression, deceptions and suicidal dispositions seem to be the essence of this new movement.

Strength, joy, funny situations and party ambiance that inspired lengendary Pop Punk bands such as New Found Glory, Blink 182, Mest, Sum 41, Good Charlotte, etc are left behind. Nowadays, there's a completely different atmosphere being lived in the main and underground scenes in the world. The reason? A new pseudo-gender is arising, called "Emo", and in difference from Pop Punk, strongly stands out self-destruction feeling among its followers. The gender has became so strong that even bands that used to have an established style are now opting to mix this new concept in their new compositions. Evidently for them is just a commercial move, but still… What are they really thinking in at joining this move? Only a few Pop Punk exponents have remained faithful to the gender and are still launching new material as a flag symbol. The situation has managed to bore public and music critics, since they openly think that this is a new gender that has no definite base, uses unnecessary techniques, supports itself in amazing but at the same time empty guitar solos and, even worse, transforms into living zombies all of those that listen to it. Will glory times for Pop Punk be back some day?

8. "WHERE IS CH'D?" (October 20, 2008)

After continuous stops, deceptions, problems and other adverse events that happened to Ch'ing Dinasty in the last years, public opinion wants to know if they are dead or alive, if they will continue with the Project or not…

At the end of the brief resurgence time which Ch'ing Dinasty went through at the end of 2006, the plans and all activities referred to the band vanished and fell apart. The story remains at that point until now. According to close sources, the only members left are doing things that aren't related to music, living the easy life and that is very difficult that they may decide to try to pull up the band again… at least in short term. It is said that the lack of support, opportunities, disposition, problems, money and constant falls were the elements that finally left the band in the deepest uncertainty. And everything is even more regrettable at knowing that they never reached their goal of recording their first album, factor that has become essential in order to transcend in today's market. The situation gets even more adverse due to the fact that the gender is going down little by little, and other like Emo and Reggaeton seem to be strongly possessing the market. The question is… Will we ever see Ch'D back in stage again?

9. "CH'D PREPARES FOR THE STRIKE BACK" (November 15, 2009)

Strong rumors are going around like gunpowder in local scene. Long disappeared Pop Punk band Ch'ing Dinasty prepares to give it another shot, stronger than ever.

After recent conversations, discussions and beers in between, the basic pillars of the group, better known as Coco, El Charro and Betin have finally decided to get back together and fight it for Pop Punk, which is going down lately. Actions are not kept waiting and with a good structured plan, the so-promised debut album "We Punk The Kids" is expected to be definitely launched by December 2010. New songs, mature and vintage are being polished and perfected week after week in several rehearsal rooms around Lima, Peru. Finally finishing a somber time, they consider that they have learnt enough as to avoid depending again on people just passing through the band or others that promise much, but offer little. The lineup will maintain stable and, although it is very difficult to have Betin travelling between Peru and Japan, nothing is impossible. The question is… Is all of this true, or it's just bluff?

10."WE ARE BACK" (March 2, 2010)

"We are back and it's official". With a clear message for all Pop Punk followers, Ch'ing Dinasty is back and pretends to fight it till the end.

Finally, and after almost 7 years of interruptions and complications, Pop Punk bad Ch'ing Dinasty is back. The news has caused a lot of movement and excitement locally, and opinions pro and con haven't kept us waiting. Comments like "they are not going to make it", "they are too old" and "it's just more of the same" are some of the main ingredients they use to kick it hard and move forward with the goal that they set for themselves a long time ago. With a renewed attitude and the wills to fight for it either way, they had the courage to start recording their 2 first themes called "Now or Never" and "Give Me Your Hand", soon to be launched in their temporarily web page www.myspace.com/chingdinasty. With a powerful and modern sound accomplished thanks to El Saito and Mundano Records, their many declarations made long before have today a firm support. Now they have the formula, the support and, most important of all, they have the attitude. Attitude that at some point was lost in time, not only in them but also in local scene. Pop Punk has now one more ally and the name is Ch'ing Dinasty. And as they would say, "Be prepared, join us and stay tunned".
