CELULA THRASH GUATEMALA CITY


The thrash metal chapin has several groups representatives, among which the grouping cells, forming eight years ago in the capital city.

Since its first 10-song EP recorded in late 2002 in a home studio, Mobile has earned its place in the thrash scene, which grew simultaneously with the band.
The quintet was consistent with its purpose of promoting this sub-genre in the country rock scene, and through taps in bars and tours within the republic, it became a space in the local rock scene.
Six songs were part of the album in mid-March, started recording the five musicians. The band also has a proposal to conduct concerts in Mexico City when completed for production of the disc to give a promotion on the outside of Guatemala. Cell has succeeded in placing his subject animal instinct in some radio stations in South America. In these days where the theme also promoted to the Rebellion and Surviving Extintion, whose message can be interpreted as vindication of their music in a pessimistic world to the rock, or survival in a harsh reality as the Guatemalan.
The band has a host of presentations within the country, as well as presentations at the sister Republic of El Salvador where he opened the show to the American band Malevolent Creation. Aca en Guatemala have opened the show with the following bands, Malevolent Creation, Morbid Angel, Mantra of Costa Rica, Mourtoria of Mexico.

El thrash metal chapin tiene varios grupos representantes, entre los cuales destaca la agrupación Celula, formada hace ocho años en la ciudad capital.
Y aunque a sus inicios la propuesta de Raul,Ever,Ramiro,Luis e Ivan fue muy metalera, con el paso de los años y la creación de varias canciones propias los 4 evolucionaron gradualmente hasta dar con su propio sello de guitarras ruidosas y voz de denuncia que les ha ganado un lugar especial,conforme fue pasando el tiempo la alineación cambio un guitarrista, el cual salió Luis y entro Joel Salguero para darle otro aire fresco a la banda de allí la banda comenzó a reacerse de nuevos ritmos metaleros.
En las próximas semanas, la agrupación planea empezar a trabajar en su gran debut discográfico, además de promocionar dos de sus mas conocidos temas.

Desde su primer EP de 10 canciones grabado a finales del 2002 en un estudio casero, Celula ha sabido ganarse su lugar en la escena thrash, que creció simultáneamente con la banda.
El quinteto fue consecuente con su fin de promover este subgénero en la escena del rock del país, y a través de toques en bares y giras por el interior de la Republica, fue haciéndose un espacio en la escena rock local.
Seis canciones formaran parte del álbum que, a mediados de marzo, empezaran a grabar los cinco músicos. La banda también tiene una propuesta de realizar conciertos en Ciudad de Mexico para cuando se termine la producción del disco para darle una promoción en el exterior de Guatemala. Celula ha logrado colocar su tema Instinto Animal en algunas radios de Sudamerica. En donde estos días también promocionan el tema Rebelion y Surviving to the Extintion, cuyo mensaje puede interpretarse como la revindicacion de su música en un mundo pesimista ante el rock, o bien , la supervivencia en una dura realidad como la Guatemalteca.
La banda tiene un sinfín de presentaciones en el interior del país, asi como presentaciones en la hermana República de el Salvador donde le abrieron el show a la banda estadunidense Malevolent Creation. Aca en Guatemala le han abierto el show a las siguientes bandas, Malevolent Creation, Morbid Angel, Mantra de Costa Rica,Mourtoria de Mexico.
