That is the true mindset of Carl Stokking, a 24 year old solo guitar player from Philadelphia, PA. This musical code has allowed Carl the opportunity to perform at various venues throughout the Tri-State area.
Growing up, Carl tried his best to learn the songs from some of his favorite artists including The Beatles, Phish, Metallica and Led Zeppelin, often times receiving a helpful push in the right musical direction from his parents, two classically trained musicians.
Carl utilizes various techniques and technologies to create a powerful and wholesome sound while remaining a solo act. To achieve this unique creation, he orchestrates several layers that include a bass line, multiple rhythms and harmonies, and a concrete percussion line to fasten down the foundation tightly. His melodic and skillful improvisation gives his music the punch that listeners desire.
