CONCRETE is formed on July 2009 by circle of old friends who come from Ujung Berung area (suburban area situated in the east side of Bandung city) and used to hang out together with hard / metal music social community, 'Ujung Berung Rebels' back in early to late 90's.

Some of the members were struggling in different bands. Toto played in Burgerkill for over than 5 years. Ugum also took guitar duties for the same band around late 90's to early 2000's while kept playing in Disorder Lies. Firman and Badu had struggled with Letdown since the day one and are still keeping it going on up to now.

When things got Ugum and Toto stopped from music activities some years ago due to having 9 - 5 permanent jobs, they wouldn't possibly think about dealing with music scene again and had considered to be 'retired'. Actually their interest to be in touch with the other way of living that made them unable to communicate each other. However, they finally discovered each other through internet social networks in 2009 and triggered the passion back on music. With some help from friends (Radit - JUSTALIFE and Warick - THE LOCUST KING once tried to be involved with us), they wrote musical arrangements piece by piece. Later, Firman and Badu of LETDOWN come to us with serious deal to try putting in their ability in creating music. At the end of 2010, Firman resign from CONCRETE for some reason. Now in the vocal position was replaced by Bobbie.

Influences: HATRED,ANGER,PAIN, NYHC, Death Metal, 90's metal hardcore (especially Vision of Disorder, Earth Crisis, Adamantium, Wall Of Jericho) and the rest of good bands that put out great musics.
