Hello Friends! We are Broken Down Sunset from Philadelphia, Pa. We formed in mid 2010 and secured our line up in Jaunuary 2011 we quickly got to work writing songs and playing small local shows throughout the Philadelphia area. Our music packs a punch. We come out swinging and do so until the last note hits.
In March we teamed up with Will Yip(Title Fight, The Wonder Years, Mother of Mercy) to record our debut Ep, The Ghost of Healing. Set to release August 27, 2011. Through that process we learned a lot about not only ourselves as musicians but as a band and got back to writing new material almost immediately with the excitement and determination to go back and record a full length.
Being a young band in a tough city we are looking to play as many shows as possible to show everyone that Broken Down Sunset is the real deal. We want you to have as much fun as we do at the shows. We always go by the slogan, "Play every show like it's your last". We have high energy at every single practice and show and love doing what we do. Enjoy our music, friend our page, comment on our wall and definitely come out to the shows!
