In July of 2010, founding members Gen and Eric met through an online forum hoping to form a band. While searching for the the band's musical identity, Gen and Eric went through a series of changes in the roster. The search for permanent band members went on for several months. Now that the roster is complete, the members of the band fuse their various influences to create their own style of music under the name of "Aviary Sky".
"Aviary Sky" is a four-piece rock band. The name "Aviary Sky" pertains to the freedom in creating music as to the freedom that birds have in the sky. With various influences ranging from alternative to metalcore to progressive to mainstream, each song is unique. Free to adopt different styles, genres, song structures, influences and technique in any given song makes the band's sound a world of its own.
