Another Anthem is a four piece punk and melodic hardcore band that was first started by Matt Holben in the summer of 2006 in the tiny town of Prospect, Oregon. Another Anthem is a band of many different musical styles; ranging from mid tempo melodic punk to fast heavy hardcore. And the subject matter of their lyrics is very much the same with lyrics encompassing a broad area of issues or subjects ...that are meaningful to the band. One thing you can always count on with Another Anthem is that they'll write music because they love it and nothing else. The love of music is why AA is still here and why they always will be. After numerous lineup changes the only other surviving original AA member other than Matt, is Logan Herzog. Now after five years the band has played hundreds of shows, toured part of the country, released an E.P, released their first full length album A TIME TO HONOR in 2007, then wrote new songs and recorded new material for their Sophomore full length entitled No Hope For Tomorrow released in 2009. Now Another Anthem has written and self produced their third full length record entitled So Long S.O. which was released in April 2011. They also embarked on an Oregon tour in the Spring of 2011 in support of the new album. On the bands fifth anniversary they brought second guitarist Craig Bradford and new drummer Devon Blazer in to the AA family. Another Anthem has future plans for more touring this year, writing new songs and taking their music careers to the next level. Be on the lookout for these guys, because they won't give up till they've taken over!

I've seen these guys live and they have a lot of energy on stage and they really do put on a great performance. The music is very well put together, one of those bands that waits until they've perfected a song before performing it.
