And After is quickly setting a positive standard for young bands. The rock quartet has launched an attack on the Midwest music scene armed with an arsenal of energetic and sophisticated songs. Each member brings their own influences together to create a unique and powerful sound that has been winning over audiences in the Chicagoland area.

The And After story began in late 2008 with Greg Gustafson (guitar, lead vocals) and Paul Lindahl (drums) writing the songs that would soon become their first full-length release. Greg brought his former band mate Sean Lichterman (guitar, vocals) to finish writing Our First Time, recorded in Milwuakee WI. The three played many shows with bands such as Alkaline Trio, Taking Back Sunday, and Anberlin until Sean left for college in the summer of 2009.

The band went into hibernation until Greg and Paul recently decided to revive And After and found Joshua Patterson (guitar, vocals) to replace Sean. The new line-up was set to play College of Lake Countys 2010 Battle of the Bands. The day of the reunion show And After received a call from Sean saying he was on his way back from Florida where he just finished his freshman year. The band propositioned Sean to play bass for the show. And After won the battle of the bands and welcomed back Sean as their permanent bassist.

And After will be back in the studio this summer recording new material. Look out for new songs at facebook.com/AndAfterMusic. To experience all that And After… has to offer you have to witness their explosive live set. You can catch And After… live July 9th at The Rave in Milwuakee with Dr Manhattan, Two Star, Chris Slone, Tadashi, and Taken The Coast. They will also be playing July 28th at the Lake County Fair and July 31st at The Oasis in Grayslake IL.
