Anadel's roots can be traced back to an earlier time in the life of the band's frontrunner, JT Bailey. It was during his mid-teens that he began to compose his own music and lyrics. Over time the band's first additional member, his sister, Keri, joined, and the two began to collaborate; JT provided the song and lyrics, and Keri provided her gifts with the violin and additional vocals. Eventually JT's musical style would begin to solidify as the two, accompanied occasionally by their father, Tom Bailey, began to play together more, and to seek out ways to play for more people. It wasn't until late 2010, however, that the band Anadel was truly formed. By the time the band had completed their first full length album, Flying South, the band would consist of JT's younger brother Steven on keys, Ben Guerierri on bass, and Andrew Arcadi on the electric guitar.

As an aspiring indie rock band from Napa, California, Anadel recently took their music to the Illumination Festival in Red Bluff, which is located in Northern California. There they participated in a Battle of the Bands, and were blessed with a victory. Currently Anadel is seeking out more opportunities to play their music for other people, and are incredibly grateful for the way in which they've been blessed as a band so far.
