Welcome To The Ampd Project.
My name is Allen Michael Perez Davis (AMPD).
I have made music for years, under various named and in various projects. And through out these years, I have learned many things. First, music is a journey. Second, music should be about expressing yourself in a way other forms fail to achieve in their greatest efforts to do so. Third, have fun.
This project is me doing just that.

There was a tough period during my life, mentally. There were periods of isolation that yielded creative avenues that I am now exploring--I would not alter my past. Music was the one thing to always get me through a hard day or a tumultuous night. As such, I will continue making music.

In this current day and age of the internet, music is evolving. I realize this. Although I am no where near an expert on societal/habitual patterns, I see enough to know that the climate is changing. No longer are full albums gracing the ears of many--Nay, "singles" are gracing the ears of many. No longer is pure talent considered The Only way to make it. Nay, "auto-tune" will get you there.
While I am in no way, shape, or form the man who will stop this degradation, I can do my part; and create. I create music, to create music--Absent of monetary motivation. I will not use auto-tune, I will attempt to always release songs in packs of at least five, and I will always release what comes from my heart. I don't force creativity--I let it come to me. My goal is not stardom--this will not get me there. My goal is to make music, and know my listeners. If this gets to a point where I can no longer know my listeners--Then...I do not know. I am not planning on that happening.

I want to take this space on this billboard to thank a few people.

First, I would like to thank God.
I understand that many people in this current age, do not like God or the "idea" of God. To you, I respectfully request that you respect me--as I respect You. As a former atheist, I can understand many of the arguments against God--but I can no longer personally relate to them. The chance of my being here on this earth is slim to none, the chance that I would be here today, typing this message, on a nice computer, in a fairly nice home, with a healthy heart, and properly function system that simultaneously and flawlessly intergrates eleven smaller sub-systems; Is astronomically low. I Thank God that I am here to enjoy my life--Free Will and All.

Second, I would Like to thank my Parents; Frank and Elena.
My parents are my heros. They are great human beings and they raised me teaching me not what to think, but how to think. They have been there when no one else was. They will be there as time goes on. I trust them, as they trust me. Life is not perfect, but the base of my life is strong. For my food, health, and overall well-being, i can only say, to my mother and father; Thank You.

Third, I would like to thank Danielle. Boom, you have been there for me constantly over these last couple of years (doesn't it feel like 14 years at least?). Ever since I met you at Georgetown, things have been different. I live my life with a different outlook today, and I pursue music with a level of energy and determination that is in an entirely different echelon than before you were around. I thank God that I went through the discomfort of a major schism last year. For had that not happened, I may have never gained the courage to "go for it" and tell you how I felt about you. Thank you for always supporting me and for always being there; in every aspect of my life--including my faith.

Fourth, I would like to thank my family, friends, and teachers. You all have been great. In the tough times, we made it. In the good times, we capitalized.

In closing, I say one word:

Eventual Goal: Release about 50 of my songs, for free/option to buy. Unfortunately, I have no way to make that a reality at this point and time. Spread the word, come listen, collaborate with me!

The Purpose:
I make music for my own personal enjoyment.
I make music for the sake of it being heavy
I make music for the sake of it being groovy and even trippy
I make music for movies
I make beats for people who feel like paying for something (that with a lot of time and dedication) they could probably do themselves.

add yourself as a fan/favorite me, leave a comment and maybe even message if you do enjoy the music. It doesn't matter how many times something is said (good or bad) I will appreciate it and consider just as equally as any other.
What is cool about this page is that...I don't delete songs. I pay the pro membership fee just so I can have another place to store songs. If you scroll through and listen to them all, you hear a skill and quality progression. The people who have been with me for the last couple of years ...Thank you
