AMARINA is a Greek/Australian Rock/Pop Singer & Songwriter with a distinct, powerful voice and presence. She shot to fame in Greece under her original name Marina Solonos but changed her name to Amarina when she decided to expand her musical career and move to the U.S.
Amarina obtained a bachelors degree in LAW in the U.K. although she never followed the lawyer's profession.
She was signed with EMI and subsequently with VIRUS Records in Greece releasing a total of 4 Albums/EPs having great success. In one of these albums, Antony Costa, member of distinguished Boy Band 'BLUE' is featured performing in one of the tracks with Amarina.
In July 2009, Amarina independently released her new self titled EP in the U.S. including 6 songs. EP can be found on all major on-line retailers.
Amarina permanently resides in Los Angeles since May 2009.
Breaking into the L.A. scene, she is already performing Live in venues with her newest rock band. Her stage presence is definitely breath taking and her music very unique and commercial.
Remarkably, even though she is quite new in the U.S., she is currently making soundtracks for up-coming Hollywood films.
