A Lot Like Death is a 5 piece band with the line-up are from various parts of Malaysia. Playing a genre of music that mixed up Death Metal and Hardcore. They started out in the middle of 2008. Their first show was the "We Ain't Dead Yet!" in JB on 2/11/2008 and everything started from there. The name "A Lot Like Death" has no meaning what so ever. It was originally taken from a movie title "A Lot Like Love" (2005 romantic comedy-drama film) but changing the L-O-V-E words to D-E-A-T-H.

With their enthusiasts in playing so-called "Death Metal" music, they have finally recorded a 3 songs "Demo - UnBorn" in 2009. In the same year, they were given a chance to play in "Ignite Fest 2009". It was their first to play in such big event. For the latest project, they are concentrating on making more quality songs for the EP and playing more showsâ€¦
