As one of the fastest rising bands in the upstate, 9th Corner has attracted a following at an astonishing level. With their unique sound and strong stage presence, they drag the audience to the brink of reality.
The band is youthful and energetic with each members focus exclusively on writing and playing music. 9th Corner incorporates an entirely new style in an effort to fuse together the hip-hop, rap and rock classifications of music into one genre. Packing out local venues, the bands stage show is a popular one using their energy and many stage props to keep the crowd entertained.

Vocalist Jimmy Charlton and guitarist Paul DeMarchis Jr. knew each other for four years in high school before realizing that their common interests in music would send them on an unstoppable path. The two held auditions and acquired the necessary pieces that would mold 9th Corner into what they are today - Tim Merrill, aka DJ Aksident, bassist Jackson Smitherman, and drummer Elijah Goldsmith. The five have since bonded through their music, and after writing and playing together, they are ready to make their mark on today's music scene. The average age of the band is 23 years old with an average of 7 years band experience per member. With each of them being capable of playing additional instruments other than their own - the possibilities are endless!
As a whole, the band attributes its musical influences to bands like Mindless Self Indulgence, Deftones, Linkin Park, Mudvayne, ill nio and Sevendust; and individual artists such as Jimmy Urine, Stef Carpenter, Sonny Sandoval, Ryan Martinie and Rob Bourbon.
9th Corner's time is now! They are a force to be reckoned with in the current and future music arena. The band is creative and highly motivated to take their career to its peak and turn the music industry on its ear!
