2006 ahoy!
blog post
It's been a great year.
We met back in February and quickly came to love our rehearsals, as much for the craic as the music ('Give it a tweak', 'Langu!', 'It's a poo pen', 'I can't get it to work ... oh, the mute's on', 'Don't get too close, it'll suck you right in', 'Did we just blow another amp?'). The year was full of highlights - our second rehearsal where show-opener The Great Divide was born, our first gig at Curler's (complete with nostril-cam recording), the energy-sapping live recordings that got us tight, becoming regular headliners at Ivory Black's and the stunning atmosphere of our gig at the QMU.
With our new material sounding sharper and edgier than before and our latest recordings being more polished than a Brasso factory, 2006 is looking good.
Be sure to catch us, maybe come and have a chat. We're pretty friendly. Well, mostly. Sometimes the girls bite. =)
See you from the stage.
