7 Pound Vein is made of dedicated members united in their love and passion for music.The core members Ismu,Dhieyo and Zamry have been together since 1997.Music influence back then ranged from metal to hardcore.

7 Pound Vein played alot of gigs in the late 90's and released a self-titled demo in 2000.In 2001, they contributed a song 'My Crisis (I am)' in a local compilation album. In 2002, 7 Pound Vein released a 6 Songs EP titled "RESURFACE".As time flies, they decided to add a punch in their music by recruiting Hakim and faizal to play with them and thus 7 Pound Vein is reborn. In late 2004, Rizal take over the drummer duties.

With their new line up, 7 Pound Vein keep continuing playing gigs & will still continue to play in time to come. They currently concentrating making new songs and hoping to release a full album in near future.
