About Fourth Take
Fourth Take formed in September of 2008. They are all friends from school, and all of them were into playing music. It started with Sheldon and Ty getting together for a weekend, and multiple jam sessions happening together. After seeing how well they played together, Sheldon decided to leave his current band and get a group of guys together to start a new band. Our first choice for rhythm guitar was Mike, who had been in a band with Ty a year or so back. After searching for a while, we discovered that our friend Harley had a remarkable talent for bass. He picked it up very fast. They decided to get together to see if they could play well together, and sparks flew at the first practice. The band name is taken from the dialogue at the beginning of the recording of Undecided. After 3 takes for the instrument track of the song, we started recording the fourth take. Sheldon made the comment "Fourth take in the process!", and after many weeks of struggling for a band name, we came up with this after listening to the recording of Undecided.


But yeah we are fairly new. We are all 16 years old and live in the Hamilton area. All our songs are recorded on a laptop with a rock band microphone in Ty's basement, so our sound quality is a tad below par:P. We do have a myspace profile aswell which you can check out(www.myspace.com/fourthtake) Our myspace page features more of our songs. Right now wee just trying to get ourselves out there an whatnot so we are trying to set up profiles all around:P. So we should have some of our other songs up in a day or two but yeah, i hope you all enjoy!
