Our old songs don't represent 3RD WORLD SPECTATOR anymore.
Within the next few weeks we will be recording the news songs and they will be absolutely relevant to who we are now as a band. We will keep you posted.

And now it's almost 2007. A new year, filled with challenges, indulgences and excitement. After long hours of conversations, we are starting to get a clear picture of what lies ahead for us.
2006 opened so many doors for us, it's actually scary. We started gigging, recording and taking ourselves seriously. We had some hardships along the way, but it is all made worthwhile by everyone (whether it be fan, friend or player in the industry itself) who supported us.
Our play count on the site motivates us immensely, giving us hope that a market for our music actually exists. And getting feedback from the people we have looked up all these years just adds something special.
As you would have probably read, or noticed, we are currently rehearsing and prepping songs for our debut studio album. In the coming months we'll be keeping a studio and rehearsal diary, filled with photos and video updates.
At the start of 2007 we'll also be launching 3RDWORLDSPECTATOR.COM, the official website of the band. This site will serve as a direct portal to free downloads, tour schedules, news and videos. We'll be keeping a few tricks up our sleeve, but patience will serve this well.
The album itself is changing its shape. Bedroom songwriting, conversations on porches and the impending anxieties of going head-on into the unknown are moulding and constructing the basic atmosphere.
New songs we are working on are The Science Of Sleep, targetPatience, The Theory Of Everything and Aerial View Of A Mechanical Romance. It's a major shift in the tone and atmosphere of our previous songs, so we are very excited to test them out on audiences.
Go well, stay in touch and all the best for 2007.
Until next time
Peter

It's been almost a month since we played the unplugged show. A month is ample time to absorb the immense overflow of emotion that goes with such a show. I can not decribe how electrifying the experience was: everything just clicked.
We had a great time playing, we got tons of positive feedback and little to nothing went wrong throughout the set. So now you have my verdict.
I also want to thank everyone who has taken the time to come to our site, and listen to our songs. We worked really hard on them, and we decided that the time has come to release the first three into the light.
Tons of exciting new prospects lie ahead of us in the following months, so please come back and read the blogs and listen to music and check the designs.
Until then, go well.
