Bio of 3 Dudes and a Mullet

Rainy days during summer in mexico city...what to do? where to go? nothing seemed to fit our personal tastes...but there's a place...a place where imagination flies, and there is where all began...Under the gray skies of a crying city, out of the dullness within, 3 dudes and a mullet rise...In the warmth of a Seven Eleven convenience store.

At the time, and still, we were/are strongly influenced by the middle 80's life style and fashion, and most important : two of the band members had had a mullet before, one of them wearing it proudly, unaware of the consequences it would bring...Fearing for his sanity, one of the band members, Pony Dude, had decided to terminate the suffering the mullet had brought to him months before the band creation...This is the main reason for the band's name...

However, 3 dudes and a mullet had already had an appearence in public : a school-organized event, called "cultural week" was already a tradition in the Lyce Franco Mexicain of Mexico City, high school to which the 4 band members had attended to, and in the early december 2004, we decided to play in such event. With only a few jamming sessions before the auditions, and the nerves of the first time playing in public for two of the band members, the band was asked to be the opening band for the event...
Nevertheless, the very same day the band was to play, the organizers of the event didn't have tha band's name...since there was none...In the rush between studies and music creation, we had forgotten to think of a name that would represent us as a band, and being forced to have a name for the event, Fish Dude and Pony Dude said what was probably the first thing that crossed their minds..."3 dudes and a mullet"...
Unfortunatly, the school was a heavy load for all of us, and we had to stop playing for a while, until the summer started...and we started writing our own songs, reborning 3 dudes and a mullet...
