3 Dollar Hostage is based out of Chapel Hill and Raleigh in North Carolina and are creating a unique electro-grunge sound that is very innovative. 3 Dollar Hostage has shared the stage with The Roots, Thievery Corporation, RJD2, Brazilian Girls, The Disco Biscuits, John Medeski, Benzos, Brothers Past, Indobox, MSTRKRFT, The Killers, Phil Lesh and Friends, The Album Leaf, The Egg, GZA & Slick Rick, The Flaming Lips, and many, many more. Armed with an arsenal of electronic instruments, these boys prove that the boundaries of what a rock trio can sound like are constantly growing.
