After forming in 2003, 25 Cats Named Sam have displayed their alt-rock, post-punk wares to all who will listen. Influenced by bands as diverse as At The Drive-In, Jetplane Landing, Biffy Clyro, Rise Against, Weezer, Million Dead and Refused. 25 Cats Named Sam have been described as: "like Billy Corgans and Al Jourgensens hardcore side project.... the starts, stops and time changes remind me of ONE21. The end effect is somewhat like a pre-anal, industrialised Radiohead..."
