Welcome to the 20 twenty-four!
Forget all your concerns and open that door.
No matter who you are, you will discover here
four musicians who live for music.

The foundations for 20 twenty-four were set in Montreal, in 1998
by lead singer Ben, bass man Marty
and the Tousignant brothers on drums and lead
guitar. Back then, the members used Californian
punk rock as inspiration to erect their songs structures.
Through out the years, the boys learned how
to create catchy music pieces based on melodic guitar riffs and vocal harmonies.
Early on, Marty had to move out of 20 twenty-four for another project
but he kept in touch with the band.
To make room for Jay, an undeniable choice on drums,
the remaining band members had to swap instruments.
In 2002, 20 twenty-four records its first EP, The Pink Album and
their first video "2024" was aired on the 123 Punk Show on Musique Plus
which is Much Music's French channel in Montreal. The reaction from the fans
was unanimous: This band has a lot of potential.
Still in 2005, after 3 years of hard work and over 75 shows, the band records its
second EP, entitled Four Steps Forward which is a clear
evolution of 20 twenty-four's sound.
Right after the recording, the Tousignant brothers had to leave the house
for personal reasons. After auditioning many musicians,
Ben and Jay knew what they needed and Marty
was the man. So, Marty came back stronger then
ever to the 20 twenty-four followed by Pat on lead
guitar to fulfil 20 twenty-fours needs on strings.
Maybe this was just a test but right now, the boys are at
their very best and they play a solid pop punk sound
influenced by rock standards.

2006 starts big for 20 twenty-four with the
completion of their second video: "The one and only"
which is broadcast on the air of Much Loud in Toronto.
The band will also present their video in a half hour interview
on the 123 Punk show on Musique Plus in March.
The song "The one and only has also been selected to be
the theme song for a local teenager TV show and the
band has just concluded a deal with their new sponsor, the Surf 66 surf shops.

20 twenty-four, how can you get more?
