100%Cotton, a band from the south-east of Austria, was founded in winter 2004 and after just 7 rehearsals they played their first gig. At the beginning their style of music was not really defined but in the last years the sound of the band has changed into a mix of punk-rock.
The Cottons recorded their first demo cd Preview to the past in Vienna at The Loft studio in summer 2005.
They played and still play a lot of national shows and were participants of the European Start 2005/06 in Hungary and the European Music Meeting in Austria.
After a lot of work the Cottons developed their own style of music and so they recorded their first album Creatures under my bed at the Stress-Studio in Graz in January 2007 which is available since October 27th at 100%Cotton concerts, rise or rust records and several shops like the sunset star,...
The common attitude of the band is reflected in their songs. The songs contain serious topics about politics, society, corruption, oppression as well as songs about girls, sex, drugs and rocknroll.

100%Cotton, eine 4-kpfige Band aus dem Sdosten sterreichs wurde von den Mitgliedern Manuel (voc/guitar), Roland (dr.), Georg (bass/voc) und Andi (guitar/voc) im Dezember 2004 gegrndet wobei sie nach nur 7 gemeinsamen Proben ihren ersten Gig absolvierten. In den Anfngen der Band wurde noch mit verschiedenen Sounds und Musikstilen experimentiert bis sie sich schlielich entschlossen dem Punk-Rock treu zu bleiben.
Bereits im Sommer 2005 nahmen sie ihre Demo CD Preview to the past im Loft Studio in Wien auf. Nach unzhligen Auftritten in sterreich waren sie auch Teilnehmer bei European Start 2005/06 in Ungarn sowie beim European Music Meeting in Graz.
Nach vieler und harter Arbeit entwickelte sich nicht nur die Band sondern auch ihr eigener Stil weiter und so gingen die vier am Anfang des Jahres 2007 ins Studio und produzierten ihr erstes Album Creatures under my bed welches seit 27. Oktober 2007 auf 100%Cotton Konzerten, bei Rise or Rust Records und diversen shops wie: Sunset Star und weiteren ausgewhlten Plattenlden erhltlich ist.
Die allgemeine Haltung der Band spiegelt sich in deren Songs wider. Diese beinhalten sowohl ernsthafte Themen wie Politik, Gesellschaft, Korruption, Unterdrckung als auch heitere Geschichten ber Frauen, Sex, Drogen und RocknRoll.
