1000 Plastic Spoons is a relatively young quintet that hails from northwestern Connecticut. The band originally consisted only of Liz and Charlii, but they soon realized that their music was not reaching its full potential. Upon this epiphany, the girls invited old friends Walter, Lincoln and Ty to play with them. It didn't take long for them to see this combination was sheer genius. Between LIz's suprisingly mature voice, Charlii's insightful lyrics and harmonizing, Ty's refined guitar playing abilities, Walter's entusiastic and energetic bass playing and Licoln's unbelievable originality in the area of drums, it is safe to say these kids are going somewhere. While their original tunes combine catchy melodies with at times less than happy messages, 1KPS has a fetish for covering poppy 80s numbers.
