It isn't really accurate to call 031 a group; the only official member is producer/programmer Leo Sns, who always remained solely responsible for 031's musical direction (he is, however, supported live by a regular backing band).

Setting his principal goal to set the Monterrey mainstream on te map, pop instincts not only made the harsh electronic beats of music easier to digest, but also put a human face on a style that usually tried to sound as mechanical as possible.
